IMPORTANT NOTES: Before you upload your mp3...
Your play-a-long mp3 should be encoded at 44.1k to avoid pitch problems upon playback. Please make sure to indicate the key of your song.
A drum pattern, real or machine, is very helpful, and is needed to lock in the rhythm or groove while creating the guitar track.
Scratch Vocals, keyboard parts, and any other instruments that will end up in the song are always good to hear when creating the new guitar parts.
It is recommended to start the audio bounce at zero on the time-line of your multi-track session when creating your play-a-long track. You will then receive finished guitar tracks that are merged or consolidated all the way back along the time-line to zero, to ensure that all tracks will lock after importing into your DAW.
